 Ann Coulter
 { The Divisive Hater From The Far-Right }

 There is always a silver-lining if you look for one. And these past
 couple of years have seen a lot of dark days for American liberals.
 But, lo-and-behold something remarkable happens. The conservative
 talk show bunny Ann Coulter has morphed into a complete idiot.

 Coulter's descent into lunacy even has mainstream conservatives
 running scared that this disagreeable, acerbic woman will become
 the media face of the dynamic, aggressive brand of conservatism 
 that has successfully swept right-of-center politicians into office 
 in certain areas of the country.

 But, as they say, too much of anything is not good. 

 Too much of Newt Gingrich was not good. He was an intemperate
 blunderbuss. And, in the end, he was a blessing for the democrats 
 on The Hill. But, at least he was an elected official. He was voted
 into office. He had a constituency. It was just that politics can be 
 brutal and unforgiving. He pushed too hard. And his total lack of 
 respect for other politician's constituencies, cost him in the end. 

 Cost him dearly.

 Ann Coulter is not elected to anything. But she tries desperately
 to entice the American public to view history and politics through
 her warped vision. Her acid-laden new book "Treason" is a best seller.
 But that in itself proves nothing. -- Regardless, Fox News, the 
 unfair and unbalanced conservative cable network, seems to 
 love the woman and trots her on repeatedly so that she can 
 spew her contempt for anything liberal or born of the democratic 
 party.

 Has Ann Coulter ever glanced in a mirror, or taken a step back
 and wondered if her approach is too severe? That her style is
 off-putting to some that might actually agree with her reasoning?
 Compared to Hillary Clinton this woman is practically radioactive. 
 Ironic in that, Ann Coulter reigns as the Supreme Voice of the 
 Clinton-haters. 

 Hillary has her beat by a mile. At least, on the rare occasion 
 { when not in politician-mode } Hillary is seen as warm and 
 gracious. And completely comfortable in the role of wife and
 mother. In other words, as a human being capable of humility,
 forgiveness, and compassion.

 Ann Coulter is the bloodless Queen of the Damned and is devoid 
 of anything even remotely resembling human compassion.

 Gingrich shot himself in the foot. Bill Bennett gambled his way 
 to irrelevancy. And George "Bring 'Em On" Bush lied his way 
 into Iraq, while ignoring the sputtering economy on the homefront. 
 Fortuitously, Ann Coulter has charged to the rescue of the feckless 
 democrats in Washington, and come forth in a most timely fashion, 
 to display once again, the ugly underbelly of "compassionate 
 conservatism."

 Halleluhah! It is a time for celebration.

 Here's hoping Dubya embraces Ann, and the morons at Fox News
 continue to invite her on. For the more exposure this devisive voice
 of conservatism receives. The easier it will be for democrats in '04 
 to accurately frame far-right conservative republicans as the 
 dark, brooding, spiteful, intolerant, and arrogant clan that they 
 are.
